This is a town place where everyone says hello... except for a few suffering from bitterness. I have breakfast probably five days a week here. They know my name and I'm still learning theirs. I've been coming here since the late 80s early 90s. Food was good then and still is today. An attractive young couple took over a little over a year ago, hard-working both of them. I brought home the best stuffed peppers ever the other night. They were on the specials board. You gotta watch the specials, they're good and at a great price. They changed the pizza crust, in the last year or so, for the better. They also got a heated Italian grinder with banana peppers... Outstanding. Breakfast is yummy, reasonably priced, and it's the fastest breakfast. I know of... especially if you're trying to get the wife and 4 kids to church. Just a month or so ago, they introduced pizza delivery starting at 4 o'clock... that's 4 in the afternoon. They can deliver earlier if it's an emergency or a special situation, I had to deliver two pizzas to the girls at the Town hall the other day and it got there hot, just saying. They have a can-do attitude. Did I say the food was good? Well it is, come on bye say hello. Tell them Tim sent you and you might get a 10 cent discount on your coffee.

This nugget of a place is a town go-to... and I am always warmed by seeing people great each other and waitresses remembering customers, and plain food prepared without pretense! We choose to have breakfast at ETPizza - a better choice for us. The pizza is very good and I am a rather particular re-planted Connecticut woman who grew up where every pizza place was amazing. We found pricing to be rather high now, which was surprising... but again, we were welcomed (we moved here 35 years ago and are hoping we will soon be accepted as Rhode Islanders.) This isn't a showplace but it is a place of simple stuff, the stuff that we, in my opinion, need so much more of ! E in West Kingston RI

Local standby for me, quick service and always open when I'm looking. For the area, one of the better ones on this side of town. Good portions and pricing. Pizza is always tasty, good amounts of cheese and not sloppy.

Had a pizza off the menu on a Saturday. Ask for the red pizza. No cheese. Secret spiced red sauce out of this world. You'll be mesmerized. Had the special Mac and Cheese with buffalo chicken. Whoa! Dose looks small but it's enough to share. Amazing.

Excellent little place to grab a bite to eat. You can smell the pizza being cooked as you walk through the door and the pizza there is great. All types of pizza from plain cheese, to mushroom to onion to various specialty pizzas such as Hawaiian Pizza and Buffalo Chicken Pizza. If you are in the mood for something other than pizza they do have submarine sandwiches, wraps, pasta dinners and salads as well. There is seating available if you want to eat your meal right at the restaurant instead of doing takeout. The staff is very friendly. When I was there very recently there were two women working and both were very pleasant and helpful. I would most definitely go back to this place.

Exeter Town Pizza

If you're anywhere near 250 S County Trl, Exeter, RI, chances are you’ve heard about Exeter Town Pizza. Locals love it. Visitors stumble in and quickly understand why. This isn’t just another small-town pizza joint—it’s where homemade flavor meets a warm community feel.

Exeter Town Pizza is where comfort food finds its true meaning

Tucked in the heart of Exeter, this unassuming gem draws a steady stream of regulars and first-timers looking for that perfect slice. From the outside, Exeter Town Pizza Inc feels familiar—a cozy setup, friendly staff, and the kind of handwritten specials board that promises something made with care. Walk in, and the air greets you with the rich aroma of bubbling cheese, fresh garlic, and warm dough rising in the oven.

The pizza? Thick or thin, classic or creative, every slice is loaded with flavor. The pepperoni pie here has a crisp, golden edge that crackles as you bite. Their white pizza balances richness with a garlic-kissed tang. The grinders, toasted just right, come stuffed with meats, veggies, and house-made sauces that locals swear by. And while the pizza may be the star, don’t sleep on the pasta—the baked ziti and chicken parm taste like they’ve been passed down through generations.

The atmosphere here is relaxed, the service easygoing. Whether you’re picking up dinner for the family or grabbing a quick bite after a long day, Exeter Town Pizza makes you feel like you’ve walked into a neighbor’s kitchen.

A menu packed with crowd favorites and local charm

One of the standout traits of Exeter Town Pizza Inc is how the menu captures the balance between comfort and creativity. Alongside the classic cheese and meat-lover’s pizza, you’ll find surprises like the BBQ chicken with red onions or a Mediterranean-style pie topped with olives and feta. Want something lighter? The salads are crisp, generously portioned, and often served with warm bread that’s worth the carbs.

Kids love the chicken fingers and fries, while adults lean toward their stuffed calzones and meaty pasta platters. And let’s not forget dessert—their cannoli is the perfect sweet ending after a cheesy feast. What’s notable here isn’t just the variety—it’s the consistency. Every dish feels thought-through, cooked with attention, and priced with the local diner in mind.

Customers often talk about how generous the portions are, how friendly the servers are, and how the kitchen never skimps on flavor. That’s the kind of place you bookmark and come back to—again and again.

Convenient location, cozy interior, and plenty of loyal fans

Being right on S County Trl means Exeter Town Pizza is perfectly positioned for both Exeter locals and those just passing through. Whether you're heading home from a day at Arcadia Management Area or out exploring South County, it’s an easy stop for a warm bite.

Inside, the décor leans toward the familiar—simple booths, checkered floors, and a counter where regulars exchange jokes with the staff. It’s the kind of place where birthdays are celebrated with extra slices, and the staff remembers your order after a couple visits.

What sets this place apart isn’t luxury—it’s trust. When your pizza shows up hot, with melted cheese stretching from slice to plate, and your drink’s refilled before you ask, you know you’ve found a spot that values the customer. And in a world of overhyped franchises, this kind of consistency earns real loyalty.

What the reviews say—and why it’s worth your visit

Spend a few minutes reading customer reviews, and a clear picture emerges: Exeter Town Pizza Inc delivers not only on taste but also on atmosphere and hospitality. One diner called it “the best pizza in all of Rhode Island,” while another shared how the staff rushed to remake an order after a mix-up—without being asked.

There’s something about that kind of service that builds trust. This isn’t fast food; it’s real food, made by real people who care. Some reviewers rave about the crust—“perfectly crunchy and soft in all the right places.” Others praise the fresh toppings and quick pickup times, especially on busy Friday nights.

Locals often compare it to spots in nearby towns, and time and again, Exeter Town Pizza comes out on top—not because it’s flashy, but because it delivers what people crave: comfort, flavor, and kindness.

So if you’re ever cruising through Rhode Island, hungry for something that feels like home, make a stop at Exeter Town Pizza. Grab a booth. Share a pie. And don’t forget the cannoli.
